Several of the streets near the beach allow foot traffic only. There are benches where you can rest and enjoy a quiet moment.
There are pleanty of stores and shops in Zihua. You can find everything from leather and silver goods to quality art and household items. Much of the fun is browsing and discovery, the vendors assuring you their offerings are "almost free," and meeting folks in their homeland. When you see something you like make an offer. You'll get it for less than the asking price. That's part of the fun of Mexico. If you don't want something, just smile and say, "No, gracias."
Every plate you see here, and hundreds more in the store, was hand painted by Manuel Vargas and his family.
Wherever you see a chair you can likely get a fabulous meal.

"What's the best place to eat in Zihua?" There's an easy one to answer. Every restaurant within four blocks of the beach is wonderful. You won't have a bad meal at any of them. Beyond four blocks? Probably most of them are just as good. You get what you pay for in terms of ambiance, decor, and location. But the food? No matter where you dine, you stop eating only because you've devoured everything on your plate. Zihua is not a good place for a diet.

Capricho's. My favorite for a romantic dinner.
